This is the first time I have posted this bio anywhere. I guess I just had to move far enough beyond where I was before I could tell this story.

WHO THE HECK IS VICTORY DARWIN?

37 yo, Canadian
upon graduating high school I conceived this project, and it has kept bugging me until TODAY!
Age 24-26 created 3 businesses each valued at $2M+ (two within just 6 months, and all 3 were in industries I had no previous experience in, and ALL 3 WERE BOOTSTRAPPED!) Dan Kennedy was my mentor at the time and told me "If you can't make money without money, you won't make money with money either!"

Over the next 8 years I struggled, not able to finish anything I started. Cycles of suicidal depression and manic rage finally culminated in an "accident" I caused that almost killed me, and potentially many other innocent bystanders. I finally took action and was diagnosed as Bipolar. Been on Welbutrin and living in a different world since.

One day I read on the web that an old friend Corey Rudl had died. We were the same age and both early students of Dan K. I thought about what an incredible life Corey had, and the legacy he left. I took action that day to change my life, and create a business in line with my purpose. I hired a personal success coach and started University Of Victory. It got a lot of media attention and it has evolved now to become WorldVisionEntrepreneurs.org

I can't believe I just wrote all that! that stuff is definitely not on my Linkedin profile page or anywhere else! Anyway, I'm using Simpleology and the WOM as a guide as I put the WVE project out to the universe today, Sept 25, 2007.

I can relate to this bio and what you were going through. I was diagnosed with Cyclothymic Disorder November of last year. It is the chronic form of Bi polar disorder. I am lucky though, I don't need medication to control it as I use numerous techniques to control it. I always think about it as a gift since it is a known fact that mental illness and creativity go hand in hand. It goes to show what people with disabilities can do when you think about your disability as a gift and not as something that will hinder you :).
