Blueprint Update December 20 2007
Hello all World Vision Entrepreneurs
I thought I would give you all an update on Blueprint before the new year is in.
Well, since being rejected from the local I3 innovation Competition I have not given up and I am bootstrapping my way to the top with the help of Victory's Advice.
I had sent out letters to 4 major credit unions across Canada in hopes someone would be interested in Blueprint. I had also approached iNova Credit union here in Halifax in addition to sending out these letters.
I have gotten 1 outright rejection from ATB Financial and I have still yet to hear from Van City, Dejardins and Credit Union Atlantic.
iNova Credit Union loved the idea but said they were too small to help me run it and are currently looking into some referrals for me to help me design a better conceptual plan from a credit union standpoint. I am still very optimistic that Blueprint will be a success. Giving up is not an option for a World Vision Entrepreneur. I am working hard despite the rejection and the couple of days being a little down about being rejected. A reminder to all entrepreneurs out there......when someone says "No" to you, it just means that you have something new. NEVER TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. No matter how crazy you idea is, there is always going to be someone who is going to believe in you and back you up. You just have to go looking for it.
In the meantime and before my next blog entry, I have a unique website that I stumbled upon for Social entrepreneurship. Apparently the organization is based in Victoria BC here in Canada. Anyway all you World Vision Entrepreneurs out there should check out their website www.csef.ca
